The Trouble With Compassion – solo show, 2016

A funny, honest and thought-provoking look at the trials and tribulations of trying to be kinder. Featuring poems from my collection of the same name, filmpoems, and a nice break halfway through so we can listen to Motown and draw stick-figure portraits of each other.

The Moon Cannot Be Stolen – solo show, 2013-14

A young woman tries to find herself in India, only to get increasingly lost. Twenty years later, her diaries give rise to a lyrical poem-play, described by audiences as “mesmerising”, “mellifluous” and “dazzling”. Charting a journey from the dark side of the Goan rave scene to the banks of the Ganges, this show was nominated for Saboteur Award Best Solo Show 2014.

I am very grateful to Arts Council England for their support in developing and touring these shows.
